Our third annual Mother-Daughter Weekend was spent in Greenwich Village where we took a food and cultural tour of the village on Cinco de Mayo. It was filling and fun.
Dinner at the Balthazar Restaurant was quite a French experience.
We toured the Chelsea Market on Sunday morning where we had breakfast. This building used to be the National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) years ago. Now, Emeril and the Food Network do there shows upstairs. We're sitting on a very large granite bench - one of many pieces throughout the building.
The bakeries were awesome and here are some priceless pieces they decorated.

Sesame Street Cupcakes; Shoe Cookies; A Hatbox Cake; and Louis Vuitton Suitcase Cake. The price of the Louis Vuitton Cake is $1,000.
