It was another exciting Mother-Daughter weekend in New York (09/17/06) - only this time we went to da Bronx. On Saturday evening, we met the Ricco cousins (Shelley and her three daughters, Stefanie, Julie and Lexie) for dinner in Long Branch at Pier Village. Dinner was WONDERFUL and it was so nice to see everyone. We had a blast - especially when we rearranged our tables so we could hear each other talking. We hated to leave.
Lucille, Danielle, Kelly and I went to Lucille's in Toms River, NJ to sleep that night and we headed to the New York Botanical Gardens early Sunday morning to view Chihuly's Glassworks. Sunday was a gorgeous day and perfect for a walk through the gardens. The Chihuly exhibit was breathtaking. He's a magician with glass as you can see from my photos.
